We carry two different types of bars:

• One is made from 3 3/4" dia. annealed 4340 and is intended for making entire stub axle and CV mounting flange or stub axle and tripod housing from one piece.
• One is made from 1 3/4" dia. annealed 4130 and is intended for welding flanges to custom drivelines.
• Please note that our bars are not heat-treated. We do this so that the customer can spec out their own material requirements. But we highly suggest that you bring the material to an Rc34 minimum.
